These mats are different from the stand-alone or "nestle in an image box" Mattison, Jane, and Jill mats. Instead, these are packs of 10 single mats to be used in creating a matted Laine or Morgan album. The easiest way to use these mats is to rest one face down (with the covered adhesive strips on the back of the mat face up) and then place your print face down so that it shows through the window opening as desired. Tape the edges of your photo with archival tape to the mat, remove the safety strips from the adhesive, flip the mat over, and then align and attach the mat to the Laine album page. The result? A stunning 8x8 album page that's a cut above dry mounts. Gorgeous! |
